Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Delays Opening Of Markets

Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Inc. (WCE) will delay the opening of its markets to 9:35 a.m. on September 11, 2002. The markets will close at their normal time.

The delay follows the moment of silence at 9:29 a.m. in recognition of the events that occurred on September 11, 2001.

WCE is Canada's only agricultural futures and options exchange. WCE offers futures contracts on canola, canola meal, flaxseed, domestic feed wheat, western barley, and field peas.
