The Oct 01 canola meal futures contract began trading at US $110.00 with Mr. Ron Wiebe from RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and Mr. Raymond Bradbury from Palmer Grain the first floor brokers to trade the new contract. .
Subsequent months in canola meal futures were also traded within the first half hour of trade. .
The Oct 01 closing price for canola meal was US $101.00. .
