William Hill PLC Will Replace Equant NV In The S&P European Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350, S&P Europe Plus, S&P Euro and S&P United Kingdom Indices effective at the close of trading Wednesday, May 25, 2005:
  • William Hill PLC (United Kingdom, SEDOL 3169889, GICS: Consumer Discretionary, GICS Code: 25301010) will replace Equant NV (Netherlands, SEDOL 5497135) in the S&P Europe 350 index and will be added in the S&P United Kingdom index, after the close of trading on Wednesday, May 25, 2005. Equant NV is being deleted from the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus and S&P Euro indices following the completion of the company’s merger with France Telecom SA.

    William Hill PLC, headquartered in the United Kingdom, provides bookmaking services in the United Kingdom. The number of shares outstanding is 395,636,100 and the Investable Weight Factor will be 1.
