The interest shown in the two roadshows in London and Edinburgh on 20 and 21 September 2006 is overwhelming. A number of 25 companies will take part in the investor conference in London organized by Wiener Börse and CA IB, and in Edinburgh (jointly with Raiffeisen Centrobank) the number will even be 23 companies. In comparison, attendance last year was 18 companies in London and 17 in Edinburgh.
The interest generated among investors in Austria’s leading companies is even more impressive. In 2005, it was 37 institutional investors from London that took part in one-on-one talks with the management board members and investor relation managers of the participating companies, while this year, 82 have registered for the conference which is more than twice as many. As demand for some companies exceeds the number of appointments available, additional small group meetings will be organized.
The number of one-on-ones and small group meetings is also breaking a record. Appointments for some 180 meetings have been arranged for London, and for Edinburgh the figure is almost 100 meetings.
