This year's roadshow starts this week on Thursday, 3 February 2005 with a spectacular kick-off event in London. Nine listed companies will take part in the investor conference organized jointly by Erste Bank, UBS Investment Bank and Wiener Börse: Andritz, Erste Bank, EVN, Flughafen Wien, Mayr Melnhof, OMV, Palfinger, RHI and voestalpine. The response of investors in London to this event originally designed as a pure one-on-one affair is overwhelming. Almost 50 investors have arranged talks and some 110 requests for one-on-one talks were received. Because of the enormous demand, most participating companies will give additional presentations to small groups apart from the one-on-ones. Four of the companies - Andritz, Erste Bank, Mayr Melnhof and OMV - will take part in additional talks with key accounts on the 2nd or 4th of February.
This year's roadshow in London has drawn almost twice as many investors interested in Austrian companies than in the previous year. Compared to the previous year, the first roadshow of 2005 alone already covers one-third of the number of talks given last year.
