Wiener Börse: International Index Comparison: Year-End 2000 - November 2005

Date 13/12/2005

In November, stock markets developed quite divergently. The month of November went well for the ATX, which climbed to an all-time high again of 3,500 points. The indices SMI and DAX succeeded in reducing their long-term performance losses. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also improved. At 10,800 points, the leading American index nearly hit the level it had had at the end of 2000. A declining tendency prevailed for the other indices in the past few weeks.
