Warsaw Stock Exchange: WIG20 Profit 2 Structured Bonds Introduced To Trading

On 29 October 2009, WIG20 Profit 2 structured bonds, issued by SecurAsset S.A., were introduced to trading on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE). It is the seventh structured product of this issuer to be listed on the Warsaw bourse.

Main parameters of the instrument:

  • Value at par – PLN 100
  • Issue price - 100% of the value at par
  • Maturity – 21 October 2011
  • 100% principal repayment at maturity (subject to investment and credit risk)
  • Listed on the parallel market in a single-price auction system (two auctions per day)
  • Listed in % of value at par.

    The underlying instrument is the WIG20 index.

    The redemption value at maturity owed to the investor is the repayment of 100% of invested principal with a 21% coupon, the payment of which is conditional upon the fulfilment of one of the two conditions:

    • if WIG20 index has risen at the end of the first year of investment by at least 10% compared to the level on the onset of investment and has risen at least by another 10% at the end of second year of investment (compared to the level prevailing at the end of first year), or
    • if WIG20 index has risen at the end of the second year of investment by at least 50% compared to the level on the onset of investment.

    At present there are 69 structured products listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, including 16 bonds and 53 structured certificates. Since the beginning of this year the offer of WSE-listed structured products has already expanded by 24 products (14 certificates and 7 bonds).
