Warsaw Stock Exchange: Quarterly Indices Portfolios Adjustment

After close of trading session on 19 June 2009, the Warsaw Stock Exchange executed periodic changes in Main List and NewConnect indices portfolios.

The composition of WIG20 and mWIG40 indices remains unchanged.

In sWIG80 index, BBICAPNFI, BYTOM, DROZAPOL, POINTGROUP, FAM, SFINKS and KRUSZWICA were replaced by ENERGOPN, PROJPRZEM, TORFARM, COGNOR, IBSYSTEM, KOLASTYNA and OPTIMUS.

WIG index covers all companies quoted on the WSE Main List with the exception of companies in a particular market situation (such as bankruptcy, insolvency or qualified into MINUS5 and ALERT LIST segments or the Lower Liquidity Space), while the NCIndex includes shares quoted on the NewConnect market.

After changes, WIG index includes 286 companies and NCIndex - 89 companies.

Weightings of companies in all WSE indexes are based on free float which is limited to 15% for WIG20 index participants and to 10% for other indices. Indices portfolios effective after 19 June 2009 are available on WSE web sites: www.wse.com.pl and www.newconnect.eu
