Warsaw Stock Exchange: More Companies on the NewConnect Authorised Advisors List

On 20 July, the WSE Management Board adopted a resolution admitting another group of Authorised Advisors to the NewConnect market. The first Authorised Advisors were admitted on 27 June and 9 July 2007. The Authorised Advisors will prepare issuers for an entry to the NewConnect market and support them by providing advisory in the early phase of trading in the market.

The new companies on the list of NewConnect Authorised Advisors:
  1. DEXUS Partners Sp. z o.o.
  2. ERSTE Securities SA
  3. ?uczy?ski i Wspólnicy Spó?ka Komandytowa
  4. Inwest Consulting SA

Authorised Advisors are investment companies and other providers of business services including financial and legal advisory and audit. The role of the Authorised Advisors on the NewConnect market is to assist issuers in the preparation and approval of the relevant admission document. After the entry to NewConnect and for at least 1 year, the Authorised Advisors will support the issuers in complying with information requirements and provide them with advisory concerning the issuers’ operation in NewConnect. The co-operation of the Authorised Advisors will improve the issuers’ chances of an attractive valuation.

NewConnect Authorised Advisors are authorised by the Warsaw Stock Exchange and put on the WSE Authorised Advisors list. The co-operation of the Authorised Advisors with issuers will help them to improve management quality and to effectively use the funds raised in shares issues in NewConnect. Hence, the WSE attaches a great importance to the reputation, experience, and reliability of the Authorised Advisors. The WSE licences the Authorised Advisors to use a special logo for their NewConnect operation.

NewConnect is the new market organised and operated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange to finance the growth of young dynamic companies with a large growth potential. It is the WSE’s offer for investors with a larger risk appetite looking for potentially high returns.

The first day of trading is 30 August 2007.
