The Warsaw Stock Exchange WIG, all share index, closed at a new high of 54558,15 points. The previous closing high was 54048,19 on January 19, 2007.
WIG20, blue-chip index, closed at its highest ever value with 3483,04 points.
MIDWIG, mid-cap index, reached today a new all time high as well with 4231,14.
The Warsaw Stock Exchange computes 13 different indices, including WIG20 (blue-chip companies), MIDWIG (mid-cap companies) and TechWIG (innovative technologies companies), which are underlying instruments for futures contracts. Other indices: WIG (main market companies), WIRR (small companies) and WIG-PL (main market domestic companies) are all-share benchmark indices.
