Warsaw Stock Exchange Announces An Extraordinary Adjustment In WIRR And WIG-PL Indices Portfolios

Following the trading session on September 30, 2004, shares of company ATM (2 797 000 shares) will join WIRR and WIG-PL indices.

The company was introduced to trading on September 28, 2004 and fulfils free float, liquidity and positive book value criteria of above mentioned indices.

As the result, following September 30, 2004, there will be 56 companies in the WIRR portfolio and 111 companies in the WIG-PL portfolio.

The Warsaw Stock Exchange computes 12 different indices, including WIG20 (blue-chip companies), MIDWIG (mid-cap companies) and TechWIG (innovative technologies companies), which are underlying instruments for futures contracts. Other indices: WIG (main market companies), WIRR (small companies) and WIG-PL (main market domestic companies) are all-share benchmark indices.
All the WSE index selection criteria are based on free float, liquidity and observance of corporate governance.
