Warsaw Stock Exchange: Allotment Of "OPERA Za 3 Grosze FIZ" Fund Unit Certificates

Date 24/04/2007

Today, the unit certificates of the closed-end "OPERA Za 3 Grosze FIZ" Fund have been allotted in a public offering by using the Warsaw Stock Exchange IT system. 1,845 subscription requests have been made for a total of 89,091 securities totalling PLN 89,091,000. Limits to subscription requests have not been reduced. This is the first case to use the Warsaw Stock Exchange IT system for the subscription of public investment certificates - in a way analogous to that used in the subscription of shares.

The establishment of a new fund by using the broadly understood stock exchange infrastructure (distribution channels include all the brokerage houses being the Stock Exchange's members) is an innovative solution, which becomes a part of the broader range of our activities oriented at the improvement in the market attractiveness also in the investment funds segment. This service improves the availability of the issuer's offering and reduces its distribution costs.

TFI Opera is the first fund to decide on a different method of distributing unit certificates, and at the same time, the first Investment Fund Association (IFA) which is independent of banks, insurance companies and other financial groups.

During the press conference held today at the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Mr Adam Maciejewski, a Member of the Stock Exchange's Management Board, congratulated the IFA on success and hoped that such a method of selling unit certificates would become widespread in the market.

While answering the questions asked by journalists, Mr Tomasz Korab, the Director of TFI Opera Management Department stressed that the offering's success relied on the TFI Opera's investment philosophy: "Manage customers' funds as you manage your own funds". Therefore, the Fund's motivation is based on the full unity of interests of both managers and customers.

The subscription for unit certificates of "OPERA Za 3 Grosze FIZ" Fund took place on April 10 - 20. The public offering included 400,000 investment certificates, series A, of the Fund sold at an issue price of PLN 1,000 each.
