Warsaw Exchange - Announces Adjustment In TechWIG

The Warsaw Stock Exchange announces the quarterly revision TechWIG index. Following the quarterly revision the composition of TechWIG index portfolio will be changed.

A new company Emax (one of the largest data communication system integrators in Poland which offer comprehensive IT solutions for large and medium-sized organizations) will be added to TechWIG.

The participation of individual companies' share in the index portfolio: TPSA, PROKOM, COMPUTERLAND and SOFTBANK will be limited to 15%. This changes will be effective after close of business on Friday, December 20, 2002.

The TechWIG index was introduced on December 31, 1999, with base value of 1,000. The TechWIG index covers companies qualified for the SiTech - Segment for Innovative Technologies. Weight of companies in index portfolio is based on their turnover and capitalisation. From August, 2000 index is an underlying instrument for futures contracts.
