VTB held its quarterly FinTech project selection event together with the Skolkovo Foundation, the principal agency responsible for the Russian Skolkovo Innovation Center, a scientific and technological centre for the development and commercialisation of advance technologies. VTB’s delegation was led by Olga Dergunova, Deputy President and Chairman of VTB Bank Management Board. It included the corporate, retail, investment and transactional banking arms of the VTB Group, represented by delegates from the management of VTB, VTB24, VTB Capital and Post Bank.
In total, 12 companies presented their innovative banking solutions. These were: Algomost, Artquant, Coloreyes, DI-Group Cardmat, Flocktory, Fujitsu, KINIAN, NWTN Tezis, OZ Forensics, PimPay, ProSoft Biometrics and Teleport. They presented a wide range of solutions for modern banking, including services for investing in shares and data analysis. All the solutions were well received by the representatives and six companies were selected to collaborate with VTB.
Some of the technologies selected during previous presentation days in 2016 have already gone through the pilot stage of testing within VTB. The results of the implementations are currently under review and further commercial usage is planned within VTB Group business units.
Olga Dergunova said: “The successful pilot testing of the new technologies and further implementation of Fintech solutions has proved the value of our collaboration with Skolkovo Foundation. We will continue proactively looking for new technological solutions for business processes optimisation”.
