Next 150
As of 1 July 2002 Koninklijke Vopak (N150) will split into KoninklijkeVopak and Univar. Based on the rules of the Next 150 index the current constituent Koninklijke Vopak will be removed from the Next 150 index. According to the same rules and based on the estimated market capitalisation both companies, Koninklijke Vopak and Univar, will be added to the Next 150 index.
With this result and the result of the periodical review the Next 150 index will contain 150 securities as of 1 July 2002.
The Euronext 100 and Next 150 index have been published since 2 October, 2000. They are constituted of the 250 securities with the highest market capitalisations, traded on the official markets of Euronext. In order to be included in the indices the securities must meet liquidity criteria that are specified in the rules of the indices. Euronext Indices is the compiler of the indices under the supervision of the independent Euronext Indices Steering Committee.
