- Seagram Co. Ltd. (NYSE,TSE: VO) will be removed from the S&P 500, S&P Global 100, S&P Global 1200, TSE 300 Composite, S&P/TSE 60, S&P/TSE 60 Capped, TSE 100 and Toronto 35 Indices. Because Seagram Co. Ltd. is presently included in the S&P 500 and S&P/TSE 60, a replacement for each index will be included in the S&P Global 1200.
- MetLife Inc. (NYSE: MET) will replace Seagram Co. Ltd. in the S&P 500 and will be added to the S&P 500 Insurance (Life/Health) industry group and the GICS Life & Health Insurance industry group. In addition, MetLife Inc. will be added to the S&P Global 1200 Index.
- Vivendi Universal (France) will replace Seagram Co. Ltd. in the S&P Global 100 Index and will be added to the Movies & Entertainment industry group sector.
- Crosskeys Systems Corporation (TSE:CKY) will replace Seagram Company Ltd. in the TSE 300 Composite Index and be added to the Industrial Products group (06.10). Crosskeys Systems will also be added to the S&P/TSE Canadian SmallCap and TSE 200 Indices. The global industry classification sector will be Information Technology.
- S&P/TSE Canadian MidCap Index component CAE Inc. (TSE:CAE) will replace Seagram Company Ltd. in the S&P/TSE 60, S&P/TSE 60 Capped, and S&P Global 1200 Indices and will be added to the Industrials sector. Methanex Corporation (TSE:MX) will replace CAE Inc. in the S&P/TSE Canadian MidCap Index and will be added to the Materials sector.
- AGF Management Ltd. Class B Shares (TSE:AFG.B) will replace Seagram Company Ltd. in the TSE 100 Index and will be added to the Interest Sensitive sector.
- Shaw Communications Inc. Class B Shares (TSE:SJR.B) will replace Seagram
Company Ltd. in the Toronto 35 Index.

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P 500, S&P Global 100, S&P Global 1200, TSE 300 Composite, S&P/TSE 60, S&P/TSE 60 Capped, S&P/TSE Canadian MidCap, S&P/TSE Canadian SmallCap, TSE 100, Toronto 35 and TSE 200 pending the completion of the acquisition of Seagram Co. Ltd. by Vivendi. The transaction is still subject to shareholder's approval.
