NYSE Euronext today announced the listing on NYSE Alternext in Paris of Visiomed Group, a French leader in new-generation medical electronics.
Founded in 2007, Visiomed Group develops, manufactures and sells innovative healthcare products for self-diagnosis and well-being. These products provide preventive and non-medicinal treatment designed to be simple and easy to use and to promote patient comfort. Based in Paris, Visiomed Group has 82 employees, including sales forces dedicated to three channels: pharmacies, other healthcare professionals (hospitals, private clinics, retirement homes) and mass market retailers.
Visiomed Group (ticker code: ALVMG) was listed through the admission to trading of 1,979,362 existing shares and 625,000 new shares issued under a Global Offering[1]. The Global Offering raised a total of €5 million.
The admission and issue price of Visiomed Group shares was set at €8 per share, at the high end of the indicative range. Market capitalization stood at €21 million on the day of listing.

In six years, €2.4 billion has been raised on NYSE Alternext, half through secondary issues, by 170 companies from Belgium, Canada, China, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. Their market capitalization totals €5.6 billion.
