VisaNet’s Shares Are Now Trading At BM&FBOVESPA

The IPO of VisaNet was the first in 2009 and the largest ever held in the Brazilian market São Paulo, June 29 – Today, BM&FBOVESPA staged the first initial public offering (IPO) held in Brazil in 2009, which was the largest ever held in the Brazilian market. When the trading session opened at 10:00 a.m. the ordinary shares of VisaNet Brasil—Companhia Brasileira de Meios de Pagamento began trading on the Exchange under ticker symbol VNET3.

VisaNet Brasil has joined the Novo Mercado, which is the highest level of corporate governance at BM&FBOVESPA, and it has been included in the Special Corporate Governance Stock Index (IGC). With this new addition the number of companies that are part of BM&FBOVESPA’s special corporate governance levels has increased to 159, consisting of 101 in the Novo Mercado, 18 in Level 2 and 40 in Level 1.
