Mr. Ermotti is Senior Vice President and Co-head of Global Equity Markets at Merrill Lynch. He is also a member of the firm?s Executive Management Committee and Vice Chairman of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets AG, a Zurich-based bank. Mr. Ermotti served from 1999 to 2001as head of Equity Markets for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Merrill Lynch. He joined the firm in 1987. In 1993, he became head of European Equity Derivatives supervising the growth of the firm?s European equity derivatives business and, in 1996, he was named Head of Global Equity Derivatives. From 1997 ? 1999, Mr. Ermotti served as Head of Global Equity Linked Products and was responsible for the global sales, trading and origination of Merrill Lynch?s equity derivatives, convertibles, portfolio trading and equity financials futures and options.
