Virt-x: Key CCP Figures For First Week Of Trading

Following the successful launch of Europe's first truly pan-European CCP structure on 5 May 2003, virt-x Exchange, the London Clearing House (LCH) and SIS x-clear, the Swiss central counterparty (CCP), today announced the following key figures for the first week of trading:

• Number of trades cleared: 186,970
• Percentage settled on due date: 99.7%
• Total value of business in the first week €8.474 bn
