Vice President at INTL FCStone’s Global Payments Division Selected to BAFT Future Leaders Program 2019

Date 17/01/2019

INTL FCStone Inc. (NASDAQ: INTL) today announced that Katherine Mueller, Vice President at INTL FCStone Ltd’s Global Payments Division (“IFL” or “the Company”), was selected to participate in the 2019 BAFT (The Bankers Association for Finance and Trade) Future Leaders Program. Currently in its fourth year, the program identifies, recognizes, and develops future leaders in the transaction banking industry.

As Vice President, Mueller and her team provide customized foreign exchange and treasury services to multinational corporations, financial institutions, international aid and development agencies, UN agencies, NGOs, religious entities and governmental agencies in more than 175 countries. The Division maintains an extensive network of approximately 350 local correspondent banking relationships worldwide and leverages these trusted relationships to ensure efficient and secure cross-border payments in many countries where transparency is otherwise limited.

Katherine Mueller, Vice President at INTL FCStone's Global Payments Division, commented, “I am honored to be recognized by BAFT not only because I will be joining an outstanding group of individuals, but because we will work to address critical issues in the transaction banking industry.”

Mueller will be inaugurated into the 2019 Future Leader program at the BAFT Europe Forum in London in January, where she will be joined by other future leaders from prestigious organizations. This year’s group will be divided into four project teams to address current industry issues such as the future of correspondent banking, the role of humans in transaction banking, trade dynamics, and building collaboration between global transaction banking and the rest of the bank.

The class of 2019 includes 32 individuals from 14 countries and a variety of disciplines within transaction banking. The program will conclude at the annual BAFT North America conference in California in April.
