During their visit in the U.S. the Chinese delegation will meet with industry representatives and state and federal government officials to gain a better understanding of the U.S. soybean industry and promote better trade relationships between he U.S. and China.
The U.S. soybean industry is hosting the delegation to strengthen ties with China's food, feed and industrial customers. China is the leading soybean export customer in the world and the U.S.
Prior to the contract signing ceremony, the Chinese delegates were welcomed to the Exchange by Christopher Malo, Executive Vice President of Business Development and Marketing, and escorted to the ag apron where they had the unique experience of viewing the opening of the agricultural markets.
