Key USF Highlights:
- New all-time annual record for all USFs: 14.6 million contracts traded within the first five months of 2006 (Jan to 16 May). Previous annual record of 12.9 million set in 2004. January to 16 May 2006 up 155% on the same period in 2005.
- New monthly and daily record for all USFs: Already 6.6 million contracts have already traded in May 2006 the previous monthly record of 4.8 million contracts was set in April 2006. Record trading day of 1.2 million on 3 May 2006
- German USFs: traded 7.4 million contracts January to 16 May, up 165% on same period last year
- Dutch USFs: traded 2.6 million contracts January to 16 May, up 469% on same period last year
- Spanish USFs: traded 1.3 million contracts January to 16 May, up 334% on same period last year
