The municipality of Ullensaker lists its first bond issues on Oslo Børs today.
More and more municipalities are choosing to list their bonds on the Oslo Børs marketplaces. In 2015, six of the new issuers were municipalities. So far this year four municipalities have already listed its first bond issues on Oslo Børs.
Stock exchange listing gives municipalities access to a broader base of investors. Many investors want the bonds they own to be stock exchange listed, and new issue managers are happy to recommend that municipalities list their bonds.
The two bond loans from Ullensaker kommune that is admitted to listing today – ULKO01 og ULKO02 – have a total outstanding value of NOK 560 million. Nordea Bank og Danske Bank Markets are the managers for the issues.
