During her visit to Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Theresa May visited the Saudi Stock Exchange “Tadawul”, accompanied by His Excellency Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majed Al Qasabi. The visit comes within the framework of deepening economic relations among the UK and Saudi Arabia.
HRH Prince Mohammed Bin Nawaf Al Saud the Saudi Ambassador in the UK, along with His Excellency Minister of Finance Mr. Mohammed Al-Jadaan were also present.
The UK delegation included CEO of the London Stock Exchange Group Mr. Xavier Rolet, and UK Ambassador in Saudi Arabia Mr. Simon Collis. CEO of Tadawul Engineer Khalid Al-Hussan received the Prime Minister at the media center of Tadawul.
On another note, Prime Minister Theresa and the UK delegation attended a meeting organized by Tadawul with presence of representatives from government sectors including Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), Vice Chairman of the Capital Market Authority (CMA), and Governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), in addition to representatives from the private sector. The meeting mainly discussed enhancing economic relations and exploring possible future areas of cooperation in this regard.
