UK Financial Conduct Authority: Update From Case At Southwark Crown Court

Today Fabiana Abdel-Malek and Walid Anis Choucair have each been convicted of three offences of insider dealing following an eleven week trial brought by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) at Southwark Crown Court.  The jury is still considering its verdicts in respect of two further charges alleged against each defendant. 

The Judge has imposed reporting restrictions which means we are unable to provide further information at this stage.
