UBS MTFwould like to draw your attention to and remind you of your order record-keeping obligations under MiFIR and the UBS MTF Rulebook (section 6.10). Since the implementation of MiFID II in January 2018, Members have had the obligation to submit MiFID Party Identifiers, as well as the requirement to identify orders that are generated by an algorithm.
As part of its monitoring and surveillance, UBS MTF continuously monitors the completeness of data included on orders, including the algo flags and MiFIR Party ID tags that are mandatory when submitting an order to our Matching Engines.
The UBS MTF daily monitoring has highlighted gaps in the data submitted to UBS MTF by some Participants. Please take all necessary actions to ensure that the correct information is submitted on a timely basis to UBS MTF.
For your reference, UBS MTF has published a MiFID Party Identifier Management user guide on the transfer of order data. This Guide is available on the UBS MTF website at https://www.ubs.com/global/en/investment-bank/multilateral-trading-facility/member-information.html.
