UBS MTF would like to remind members of their upcoming connectivity changes, and announce a corresponding amendment to their FIX rules of engagement.
As announced previously in the UBS MTF notice of 8th September, direct connectivity to the UBS MTF trading platform in the Equinix London LD4 data centre will become available in production from 16 November 2015, replacing the current A4 connectivity platform, which will be decommissioned for MTF Members on 29th April 2016. The new direct connectivity will provide improved order handling performance to all members.
An updated rules of engagement document describing the direct order entry interface is available on the UBS MTF website from today at https://www.ubs.com/microsites/multilateral-trading-facility/en/member-information.html. This clarifies certain behaviour on the handling of pending orders, defines codes for rejected requests, and allows the order capacity and time in force fields to be omitted from cancel replace requests as a transitional feature to facilitate members' migration.
Members are reminded that all production sessions must be migrated to this new infrastructure by 29th April 2016. UBS MTF invites all members who have not yet done so to schedule their migration in advance of this date. Please contact dl-dat-uk@ubs.com to coordinate testing and agree a date for a Production move to the new Direct Connectivity. Members are requested to order new production sessions at least four weeks before intended go live date.
