UBS Investment Bank Appoints Global Head Of Corporate Equity Derivatives, ECMG

Date 25/01/2010

UBS is pleased to announce that Salvatore "Chicco" di Stasi has joined UBS as Global Head of Corporate Equity Derivatives, reporting to Matthew Koder, Global Head of GCM, with an additional reporting line into Jason Barron, Global Head of Equity Derivatives.

Chicco will be responsible for the development of our global corporate equity derivatives business, which UBS views as a growth area across the entire franchise.

Chicco was most recently with Goldman Sachs as a Partner Managing Director in their European Financing Group, responsible for investment strategies and derivatives coverage of sovereign wealth funds globally, as well as leading the private finance and permanent capital teams. Over the last five years he developed their Middle East coverage, gaining a market leadership position in the derivatives and investment advisory space.

Prior to this, Chicco was with JPMorgan, overseeing a number of trading businesses, before being appointed European Head of Corporate Equity Derivatives in 2000. In this position, his coverage included corporates, financial institutions, emerging markets and private banking clients, as well as sitting on the Derivative Management Committee.
