The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) took part in the UAE Flag Day celebrations. Her Excellency Dr. Maryam Al Suwaidi, the SCA’s CEO, hoisted the UAE flag at the SCA’s Dubai branch in the presence of department directors, section heads, and the SCA staff.
Al Suwaidi extended her warmest congratulations and blessings to the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai; and their brothers Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates on this national occasion that brings together Emirati nationals and residents to celebrate the UAE flag, which is a symbol of unity and a source of pride, honor, and glory.
Al Suwaidi said that the UAE Flag Day is a national occasion that entrenches the values of belonging and loyalty to the land and the wise leadership. It is an occasion to uphold the values and establish the principles of the founding fathers, an occasion on which the UAE people express their pride in their cohesion and solidarity and their determination to unify their efforts to realize their ambitions and fulfill their dreams. She indicated that under its wise leadership, the UAE has made remarkable achievements and successes and attained a distinctive status in a variety of fields.
“On this special day, we reiterate our promise to make sacrifices to keep the UAE flag flying high and to safeguard the country’s achievements and gains. We continue our march forward to boast to the world about our legacy and civilizational achievements,” she concluded.
The SCA staff took part in the Flag Day celebrations that took place at the Abu Dhabi headquarters. The SCA’s offices were decorated with the UAE flags to reflect the values of belonging to the homeland and loyalty to the wise leadership.
