UAE Securities And Commodities Authority: Financial Markets To Close For Eid Al-Fitr From Ramadan 29 To Shawwal 3

Responding to Circular No. 03 of 2024 issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources regrading Eid Al-Fitr holiday, the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA)—following consultation with the financial markets and the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX)—announced that the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the Dubai Financial Market will close for Eid Al-Fitr from Monday, Ramadan 29 (April 8, 2024), through Shawwal 3, 1445 AH.

Accordingly, trading will resume on Friday, April 12, if Eid falls on Tuesday, April 9. However, if Eid falls on Wednesday, April 10, trading will resume on Monday, April 15.

The DGCX and the Dubai Commodities Clearing Corporation will remain open, with no change in trading hours.
