Two New Trading Participants On The EEX Spot Market - First Dutch Participant

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has admitted two new participants for electricity trading on its spot market, as the company reported on Friday. Energy supplier Remu N.V. is the first Dutch participant to engage in electricity trading at EEX. EEX also admitted the Austrian energy trader e&t to the spot market.

There are currently 33 participants from seven countries trading on the EEX spot market. The participants come from Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
