Two New ETFs From ETFlab Launched On Xetra - Product Range Expanded To Include Two Etfs On DAX® And Dow Jones EURO STOXX® Select Dividend 30

Date 30/06/2008

Deutsche Börse is further expanding its XTF segment for exchange-traded index funds (ETFs) on the pan-European Xetra® trading platform and has admitted two new ETFs issued by ETFlab to trading.

A price index fund on the German blue chip index DAX becomes tradable on Xetra for the first time, with the ETFlab DAX (price index), ISIN DE000ETFL060. The new distributing ETF complements the existing tradable performance index funds with automatic dividend reinvestment on the DAX index. DAX comprises the top 30 German public limited companies with the highest turnover listed on the Prime Standard on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB®).

The ETFlab DJ EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 (ISIN DE000ETFL078) tracks the performance of the Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index (price index). The index comprises the 30 companies on the Dow Jones EURO STOXX with the highest dividend yield of the EU euro zone countries.

The management fee for the ETFlab DAX (price index) is 0.15 percent, and 0.30 percent for the ETFlab DJ EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30.

The ETF offering on Xetra currently comprises a total of 318 exchange-traded index funds, making it the largest offering of all European stock exchanges. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of over €9 billion, makes Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment Europe’s leading trading venue for ETFs. The following ETF families are currently tradable in the XTF segment: db x-trackers, EasyETF, ETFlab, iShares, Lyxor, Market Access, PowerShares, UBS Exchange Traded Funds and Xmtch.
