Two IPOs Join The New York Stock Exchange In The Week Ended Nov. 18

In the week ended Nov. 18, 2005, two initial public offerings joined the roster of New York Stock Exchange-listed companies.

The common shares of SJW Corp., headquartered in San Jose, Calif., began trading on the NYSE on Nov. 14 under the ticker symbol SJW.  SJW Corp. provides water service, owns properties and other undeveloped land, and is engaged in the sale rental of water conditioning and purification equipment.  The company joined the Exchange as an initial public offering.

The common shares of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc., headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, began trading on the NYSE on Nov. 16 under the ticker symbol ICE.  Intercontinental Exchanges, a commodities exchange, joined the Exchange as an initial public offering.
