Order book turnover on Xetra, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and Tradegate stood at €100.9 billion in September (September 2013: €96.9 billion). Of the €100.9 billion, €93.4 billion were attributable to Xetra (September 2013: €88.8 billion). €3.8 billion were attributable to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (September 2013: €4.2 billion). Order book turnover on Tradegate Exchange* totalled approximately €3.7 billion in September (September 2013: €4.0 billion).
In equities, turnover reached about €88.0 billion on Deutsche Börse’s cash markets (Xetra: €82.9 billion, Frankfurt Stock Exchange: €1.7 billion, Tradegate Exchange: €3.3 billion). Turnover in bonds was €0.8 billion, and in structured products €1.3 billion. Order book turnover in ETFs/ETCs/ETNs amounted to €10.8 billion.
A total of 15.4 million transactions were executed on Xetra in September (September 2013: 15.6 million). The average daily turnover on Xetra stood at €4.2 billion in September (September 2013: €4.2 billion).
The DAX security with the highest turnover in September was Allianz SE at €5.6 billion. Bilfinger SE led the MDAX equities at €649.6 million, while Deutsche Annington Immobilien SE topped the SDAX equity index with €222.8 million, and Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG headed TecDAX with €613.3 million. The ETF with the highest turnover on Xetra was Source STOXX Europe 600 Optimised Industrial Goods & Services UCITS ETF with €40.8 million.
The electronic trading platform Eurex Bonds traded €5.0 billion (single counting) in September (September 2013: €11.0 billion).
