The partners are all lending their support to this campaign because they feel that there are many stories of success from the venture marketplace and Canadians need to hear them. According to Ms. Hohol, "Canadians tell us that they have an idea of what TSX Venture does but they also tell us that the one thing they really want to know more about the companies listed on the exchange."
Over the next nine months, the campaign has stops planned in Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City. At these stops, consortium members will host workshops introducing business leaders to the investment professionals who can help them access the public venture market.
