The following organizational changes are effective immediately:
- John Cieslak, currently Executive Vice President, TSX Group and Chief Information Officer, responsible for information and trading technology, will also be responsible for the Corporate Communications function.
- Rik Parkhill, currently Senior Vice President, TSX Markets, the trading operation of Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange, has been appointed President, TSX Markets and Executive Vice President, TSX Group and becomes a member of TSX Group’s senior management team.
- Michael Ptasznik, currently Chief Financial Officer of TSX Group, has also been appointed Senior Vice President and assumes additional responsibility for the corporate development function.
- Eric Sinclair, Senior Vice President, TSX Datalinx, has been appointed to TSX Group’s senior management team.
In addition to these changes, Mr. Robert Pattillo, Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications had earlier decided to leave TSX Group at the end of January, 2005.
