TSX Group is hosting its 4th annual Market Structure Conference in Montreal on Tuesday, March 20, 2007. This will be the largest trading conference in Montreal this year, and for the first time TSX Group is hosting this conference in Montreal.
The event’s theme is “The Changing Landscape” and panels will explore the issues around multiple marketplaces, dark pools of liquidity and cross-asset trading. As well, panellists will discuss the impact of these issues on current market structure, trading processes and industry economics and explore the opportunities presented by cross-asset trading in an electronic environment. TSX Markets President Rik Parkhill will provide information on how TSX Group is adapting to this fast-paced environment. “We already facilitate algorithmic, multimarket, dark and cross-asset trading and we will continue to serve the evolving needs of our customer base through innovative products and services. This conference will look at some of the key issues facing the industry today.”
