Mr. Nesbitt is expected to be appointed to the WFE Board of Directors on Tuesday, November 1. That Board includes CEOs of the leading stock exchanges in the world.
On Thursday, Mr. Nesbitt will meet with business leaders and senior government officials and will explore the potential there is for work between the two countries. There are many potential synergies between Canada and India considering there are half a million Canadians of Indian origin in Canada. Mr. Nesbitt will speak at the WFE conference on Tuesday and Thursday he speaks at a business reception in Mumbai. Copies of his speeches will be available on tsx.com after they are delivered.
