TSE Nippon Sheet Glass Company, Daikin Indusries And Mizuho Holdings Added To S&P/Topix 150

Tokyo Stock Exchange and Standard & Poor' s will replace Industrial Bank of Japan (8302), Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank (8311) and Fuji Bank (8317) in the S&P/TOPIX 150 Index with Nippon Sheet Glass Company (5202), DAIKIN INDUSRIES (6367) and Mizuho Holdings (8305) after the close of trading on Wednesday, Sep. 27, 2000.

Mizuho holdings will be established through a concurrent stock-for-stock exchange by DKB, Fuji Bank and IBJ. In connection with the stock-for-stock exchange, each of the three banks will be delisted their currently-listed stocks as of Sep. 22. At present, the listing date of Mizuho holdings is planned for Sep. 28.
