TS Imagine, a leading global cross-asset provider of trading, portfolio, risk management and prime brokerage solutions, today announced the integration of prediction markets data into its platform, enabling institutional clients to use market-implied event probabilities within existing risk management workflows.
The capability allows institutions to assess how their portfolios could respond to major political, economic, regulatory and geopolitical events. Clients can map event scenarios to exposures and sensitivities across asset classes and use the resulting signal in stress testing, scenario-analysis, value-at-risk and sensitivity workflows. The associated analysis updates automatically as market-implied probabilities change.
Prediction market contracts are tied to defined future outcomes, with their prices providing market-implied estimates of the likelihood of those outcomes. Used alongside conventional market and risk data, these probabilities provide an additional signal around events such as central bank decisions, economic data releases, elections, and regulatory developments.
“Traditional risk analysis relies on observed market prices, volatility, curves and historical relationships. Prediction markets add a forward looking, event-specific view of how market participants are pricing defined outcomes.” said Rob Flatley, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TS Imagine. “By connecting that signal to portfolio positions and existing risk analytics, our clients can translate changes in event probabilities into portfolio-level insight.”
