Trintech Group PLC Becomes First Irish Company To Be Dual Listed On Nasdaq And Neuer Markt

The Nasdaq Stock Market® today announced that the Trintech Group PLC, a leading provider of secure electronic payment solutions, began trading today on Nasdaq® under the symbol:TTPAY. Trintech is the first Irish company to be listed on both Nasdaq and the Neuer Markt of Germany. The Trintech initial public offering of 5,800,000 American Depositary Shares represents 5,800,000 ordinary shares. The offering price is anticipated to be between US$10 and US$12 per share or 11 Euros. In the United States, the offering will be managed by Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown Incorporated; BancBoston Robertson Stephens Inc.; Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corporation; and WestLB Panmure Limited. Outside the United States, the offering will be managed by Deutsche Bank AG; BancBoston Robertson Stephens International Limited; DLJ International Securities; and WestLB Panmure Limited. Trintech develops, markets and sells a comprehensive suite of software products and electronic point-of-sale systems that enable end-to-end card-based electronic payments in the physical world and over the Internet. Trintech intends to use the net proceeds for working capital and general corporate purposes, including product development, sales and marketing and the acquisition of complementary products or businesses.
