United States Treasury Secretary John Snow made a historic visit to the Chicago Board Trade on Wednesday, October 22, 2003. It was no surprise that U.S. Treasury Secretary Snow's first stop on his tour of the CBOT® was the U.S. Treasury Bond futures pit, where he was greeted by CBOT traders. At 9:30 a.m. (Chicago time) Snow rang the opening bell for the agricultural floor to commence trading.
