The merger between Surabaya Stock Exchange and Jakarta Stock Exchange to become Indonesia Stock Exchange is effective on December 2007. Indonesia Stock Exchange will facilitate a wide range of investment products that include equities, bonds, fixed income, and derivative instruments. By the existence of this single bourse, we hope to achieve a more efficient capital market in Indonesia and attract more people to invest in the capital market.
Related to the merger stated above, the Indonesia Stock Exchange hereby announces that it is now in engaged in uniting and harmonizing the contents of www.jsx.co.id and www.bes.co.id into a single site, that is the www.bei.co.id. The Indonesian Stock Exchange understands that during this transition period, users may experience occasional promlems when accessing information on the new website. For this, the Indonesian Stock Exchange apologises for any incovinience that might occur.
