Within the scope of a Training & Education cooperation between Eurex and CFA (China Futures Association) the first Eurex-CFA Options training course was held from 23 to 28 July, 2012 at Beijing, Friendship Hotel. The course model is a two stage options training for the managers of research and asset management departments as well as traders of Chinese futures companies. Stage one contains a domestic training in Beijing, China, stage two is a foreign training in Frankfurt, Germany.
320 industry professionals of 128 Chinese brokerage firms participated in the 33 hours course which was completed by a 1.5 hours exam. Upon completion 20 students were selected to attend a training course in Frankfurt afterwards.
CFA and all students are highly satisfied with the training. CFA and Eurex plan to organize the next training course in November this year.
