Trading Volume Exceeds USD 590 Million On FORTS During The Evening Session

May 28, 2009 saw a new record in trading volume during evening trading session on FORTS, RTS’s derivatives section.

By the end of the main trading session on May 28, 2009 the total trading volume for futures and options had reached 18 371 971 385,61 roubles or USD 592,644,238.

The previous record was registered on July 10, 2008 with the total trading volume during the evening session reaching 17 204 487 424,60 roubles or USD 554,983,465.

The evening trading session on FORTS which lasts from 6:00pm to 11:50pm MSK allows all categories of investors to realize a great number of interesting strategies and protect their investments into Russian assets in volatile times.
