The specialists donated 41,085.69 euros to the Frankfurter Verein zur Unterstützung psychisch kranker Kinder & Jugendlicher e.V. and to MainLichtblick e.V. Deutsche Börse donated 59,003.28 euros to the KinderPalliativTeam Südhessen and the Leben mit Demenz e.V. association. After the handover, the representatives of the organisations opened trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange with the traditional bell ringing.

„With the Trading Charity, in close cooperation with the specialists at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, we support regional aid organisations that work daily for needy people and want to improve their living situation. In many cases, this also relieves the burden on relatives who take on demanding care tasks in addition to their daily work or family life,” said Hauke Stars, Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Börse, during the presentation of the donation on Frankfurt's trading floor.

As part of the campaign, the transaction and trading fees collected via the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Saint Nicholas Day were donated. Investors who traded shares, bonds, funds, ETFs or exchange-traded products on this day supported all four institutions simultaneously.
