Top Buyside Equity Trader Wendy Beaver Joins Nasdaq-Amex As A Consultant

The National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (NASD®), today announced the addition of Wendy Beaver as a consultant to Nasdaq-Amex Global Sales and Member Affairs, effective February 17, 1999. Beaver will act as a consultant to Nasdaq-Amex Member Affairs and to the Nasdaq Institutional Traders Advisory Committee, the Educational Advisory Council and the American Stock Exchange institutional efforts. She will also serve as a resource to Nasdaq-Amex Issuer Services. "Wendy's depth of experience in equity trading will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business," said Michael Kelly, managing director, Nasdaq-Amex Global Sales and Member Affairs. "We look forward to her insight as we strive to meet the needs of our investors, issuers and members." Beaver has 25 years experience as a buyside equity trader. For the past 15 years she was head equity trader at TradeStreet Investment Associates and its predecessor Bank of America organization in Charlotte, North Carolina. During her trading career, Wendy has been a member of the NASD Institutional Traders Advisory Committee, the NYSE Institutional Traders Advisory Committee, and a board member of the North Carolina Security Traders Association. She is currently a member of the National Organization of Investment professionals (NOIP).
