Tokyo Stock Exchange and Standard & Poor' s will replace the Tonen Corporation (5005) in the
S&P/TOPIX 150 Index with the Tonen General Sekiyu (5012) after the close of trading on Friday, June 30,
2000. Tonen Corporation will be merged into the General Sekiyu and delisted on July 1. New company name after the merger will be "Tonen General Sekiyu". The IWF for Tonen General Sekiyu will be .33.
