Tomas Muniesa, New President Of The mF Group

Yesterday, the Board of Directors of the mF Group, which is comprised of MEFF, AIAF and SENAF, elected Tomás Muniesa as President of said Board, replacing Fernando Ramírez who, to date, had filled said position.

Tomás Muniesa is the Vice-President and a member of the Executive Committee for the Group Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME), to which the mF Group belongs.

In addition, he is the Deputy Executive General Manager of “La Caixa”, responsible for the Financial, Insurance and Audit areas of this entity. He is also the Managing Director of the CaiFor group, a holding company that includes the subsidiaries of the insurance group. He is the President of the Unión Territorial de Aseguradores Catalanes (UCEAC) and Second Vice-President of the Unión Española de Entidades Aseguradoras y Reaseguradoras (UNESPA).
